HOW BRINGING SOME LIFE INTO YOUR HOME CAN HAVE POSITIVE MENTAL HEALTH BENEFITS.

“Where flowers bloom, so does hope” – Lady Bird Johnson

Times like these are a chance for all humans to truly embrace growth and change. We’re worried for our loved ones, happy just to get some digital human contact through video chats, and generally wondering just what is going on in the world. But if we take a hint from nature, there is only one thing we can do: grow into the strong resilient flowers we are all meant to be. Or at least bring some of that natural beauty into our homes and living spaces, right?

If you can’t leave the house to enjoy the beauty of nature, don’t fret, there are still essential farmers working tirelessly to make sure you can still have nature delivered right to your door – no contact necessary.

Liven up your livestreams, add blooms to your Zooms!

Sure, digital background changes seem cool the first time around, but what says, “I’m in control of my space,” more than some beautiful flowers adorning your backdrop? You could even build a succulent wall! We know you have the time for some crafting at home, and our florists are ready to help you decide which flowers and plants are the most, well, the most YOU!

What we’re trying to say is, fresh-cut and live flowers are as important now as ever before, maybe even moreimportant…Hugs might be out of commission for a little while, so think about sending flowers instead. At Alma, we’ve got you covered with fresh, next-day delivery.

Alma Flowers History and Values

Growing up on a farm, our founder Alma Cater first began by hosting plant parties in her home to pass her horticultural knowledge on to close friends. Today, we strive to uphold her vision of how flowers should be sent and received, passing along some of her wisdom and care with everything we do.

Alma flowers continues forward with a 45-year noteworthy legacy, holding the continued passion for bringing flowers to more people, for more reasons.

Alma Flowers Does Flowers Better

Maybe we’re a little crazy to think it, but there’s power in our flowers. Beyond the significant benefits to health and happiness that can come from keeping flowers in your home—our flowers have the power to do great things in the external communities, too.

Stress relief and healthy living are only the beginning. A welcome and flattering gift for any occasion, the addition of indoor floral design is shown to significantly improve overall mood. The best part? You don’t have to be an amazing florist to bring amazing floral arrangements into your abode. Alma has you covered.

Choosing flower bouquets and floral arrangements that do more than brighten your home and help clean your air can give your dollar more power, too. What does that mean? Our flower arrangements are dedicated to supporting larger communities.  At Alma, we want to brighten the communities and causes you love as much as we brighten your apartment decor with expert floral arrangements—through sustainability.

Sustainability is our lifestyle.

Growing flowers sustainably made sense to us from the start. We work closely with our growers and partners to maintain sustainable growing practices. Flowers in your home are a healthy connection to nature, and Alma always wanted to make sure and nurture that connection in the business, too. We are dedicated to delivering our products with eco-friendly packaging to help decrease the human footprint. Eco-friendly is ego-friendly, so do yourself the favor of buying smart!

Feeling good about your flower purchase should be bigger than flowers and vases…Alma wanted every purchase to do more than brighten a room. That’s why you can shop based on a cause that is near and dear to you and the things you care about. Does your family have a cause you support? Let us know, we’d love to support together.

We like to think ordering online is easy-peasy, but some of our clients still love to give us a call and talk about what’s fresh, in-season, and will look best in their home. We’re happy to work with you, whichever way you feel comfortable.
